TREE BOARD MINUTES
March 6, 2018
PRESENT: Jody Mudd, Matt Shrewsbury, Cheri Silvey Slusher, Jodi Smiley, Laura Trachtenberg
Non-voting Council member Kate Greer
FINANCIAL REPORT: $4942.16
The Vetters received $200 from the WHAAG account for two trees.
ARBOR DAY will be Sunday, April 15 from 2-4 on the Green. Caroline has created a tree identifying game for children. She also purchased coloring books for them. The children will plant seeds in cups to take home.
Kate will ask Jim Lehrer for 3 long tables.
She will ask Helen Davis if we can borrow her loud speaker system.
Jodi Smiley will get the banner from Cathy Thompson.
Matt and Kate will buy juice, cookies and water.
Should it rain, we will do something at the 4th of July picnic.
We need two new people on the Tree Board. Cheri will contact the last 4 people who were interested.
She will also send out personal letters to the Clerkenwell people about trees in their ROW.
The next meeting will be June 7.
