AN ORDINANCE RELATING WEEDS OR GRASS.

BE IT ORDAINED TO CONTROL OF BY THE CITY OF WINDY HILLS:

Section 1

It shall be unlawful for the owner or occupant of any property within the City to permit weeds or grass
to grow greater than seven (7) inches in height on the property, including the roadway right-of-way lying between his/her/its property and the pavement.

Section 2.

Any person violating Section 1 of this ordinance shall be fined not less that $50.00 nor more than $100.00 for each offense. Each day’s continued violation shall constitute a separate offense.

Section 3.

In addition to the foregoing, this ordinance may be enforced by civil penalty as provided in Ordinance 97-01. passage

Section 4.

This ordinance shall take effedt upon its passage and publication as required by law.
